I've created a decent map for newcomers to Helena. It has the locations of many of the first places you need to go when arriving in a new town: post offices, banks, DMV, grocery stores, Target, Costco, thrift stores, etc.
I helped a friend move to Helena and spent 6 weeks exploring. I was inspired to make this map to help us figure out where we were going, but also to offer it as a reference for others. As one of my favorite professors is always saying "there is no need to reinvent the wheel, use what others have already created and go from there".

It also has some good local recreation spots: movies, theater, hiking, lakes, horseback riding, snowboarding/skiing, etc.
All of the map locations have addresses and many have phone numbers, business hours, and links to websites. I'm continually updating the map with new features and adding information to the existing locations.
